World of Warcraft Item Upgrades
Upgrades to items are an essential part of gearing up your character. Upgrades boost damage to items and the ability to enchant.
They also offer bonus effects and enhancements. The Blacksmith is able to sell them to you.
The upgrade button can be found on any item. Every item recycled adds level to the gauge for upgrading.
Weapon
If a weapon is upgraded, it will gain a base damage bonus and a scaling factor which affects other stats. The weapon could also be upgraded with a number of upgrade components, which provide additional features or effects as well as unique cosmetic effects. These upgrades can be added to weapons, armors, trinkets and gathering tools. The majority of them require that the equipment is equipped with an upgrade slot and meet certain specifications. If a weapon piece is equipped with an upgrade component it, it is able to be upgraded however the prior upgrade will be destroyed (except for legendary equipment and upgrades). Upgrade components can be retrieved with the help of a Black-Lion Salvage Kit or Ascended Salvage Tool, or by using a high-tier salvage tool on the item itself.
A weapon can also be upgraded to include a calibration attribute that boosts certain stats, such as Weakspot damage or Crit Rate. This is done through the Gear Workbench interaction menu. This can be repeated four times based on the weapon level.
Once the weapon is at the maximum level of upgrade, it may be rebuilt using a variety of different upgrade types to improve certain stats or add bonuses and effects. All of these upgrades can be applied at once and their effects will depend on how rare the weapon is.
Two Blacksmiths can be upgraded in the game: Blacksmith Iji on the Road to the Manor Site of Grace and Smithing Master Hewg at the Church of Elleh hub. Both require different upgrade materials: Smithing Stones for standard weapons and Somber Smithing Stones to alter the kind of damage that a weapon inflicts.
Generally, it is recommended to increase the damage of your weapon first, then armor defense, and finally the other secondary stats as required by your build. In particular, it's common to see melee druids upgrading their weapon before any other gear, since this helps maximise DPS. This is especially relevant for enchantments that enhance a weapon's stats and damage.
Armor
Item upgrades allow players to enhance the base stats of certain pieces of armor trinkets, weapons, trinkets, and gathering tools. These upgrades may also have other effects, such as an increase in damage or cosmetic enhancements. Item upgrades are available through crafting, buying from NPC vendors or loot drops, or as rewards for quests.
Armor can be improved by visiting the Armorer NPC, and spending the appropriate currency. In most cases, a piece of armor can be upgraded to the next tier once an upgrade is applied. This can be done for all types of armor, but certain items are not upgradeable at all (such as the starter armor in Great Sky Island).
Most armor upgrades increase the item's defense or strength by only a tiny amount. However, certain upgrade components can provide significant enhancements to strength or defense, particularly when upgrading an epic item.
Certain upgrades grant special abilities that can be activated while wearing armor. These abilities can be useful in combat, for instance providing a boost to attack speed or blocking. Certain upgrades also offer passive effects, such as cutting down on the amount of damage that is taken when wearing armor, or giving you a the chance to avoid attacks.
Upgrades to armor can require multiple attempts, based on the type. If a player wishes to upgrade Steelclash armor into Dragonscale The first attempt will result in a new Dragonscale armor with an armor base defense of 59-67. The second attempt will result in a brand new Dragonscale armor with the base defense between 67 and 77 and the list goes on.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild lets players upgrade their armor sets up to level 4. To do this players must visit the four Great Fairy Fountains located in the game. Each location has a powerful fair who can upgrade a piece of armor for you.
Contrary to popular belief armor isn't useless in The Division 2. The reality is that certain armors have very significant boosts to poison, curse, fire or magical damage reduction, making them very useful for specific builds. There are other ways to boost armor stats beyond the use of upgradeable armor such as the engineer trait to increase armor penetration, or the challenger trait that reduces total weight.
Potion
A potion can be upgraded by placing it in an brewing stand in order to unlock new effects. The upgrade opens a new tier of potion effect, and can be repeated to get more potency levels.
The potion also has a custom color code, which the player can select by using /give. This alters the area-of-effect clouds and arrows produced by the potions. In Bedrock Edition the custom potion color is also applied to the particle effects of the potions.
Casesgg , common and thick potions and difficult potions, now have a different brewing texture. In the Creative Inventory the potion healing and weakness are now available. The potions are lingering and can be prepared using dragon breath or splash potions, and a thick potion with the status effect Mining Fatigue (duration 4:00). Trinket
A trinket could be an inexpensive, small ornament or piece of jewelry. It could be a ring, necklace or even a small flag to identify a vessel's lateen yard. It could also refer to the trinket with gilded gold that is attached to the mast of a boat.
This bizarre trinket seems to be influencing the residents of this maze by making them more common. The trinket, at present, makes all types of replicas more popular and gives every floor an A% chance that it contains an ebony replica. This trinket requires a small amount of energy to upgrade.
This enchanted Scepter's magic seems to influence the dungeon by increasing the probability of generating water and grass. This trinket at the current level will cause X% of the regular floors to be filled with grass or water. It will not affect enchantments, glyphs, cursed armor or weapons, or items that are produced to solve hazards rooms.
While it looks like the normal eye of a newt this mysterious item appears to be affecting your vision in ways beyond merely reducing your field of view. This trinket, in its current level, boosts the health benefits of drinking potions of healing and wells of life by X% and grants mind sight on enemies within the Y tile. This is not a stacking feature with Heightened Senses.
Skull Cavern is where you will find Trinkets after you've completed the Mastery Cave. You can find them by defeating Monsters and in chests and crates. They can't be found in the Mines or Volcano Dungeon.
Place the trinket in the Anvil whenever it is required to be upgraded. This will affect the trinket that will either enhance or intensify its effects. You can reforge an item for as many times as you like, but it will always have a different effect than the one you had when you first made it.
You can upgrade your Trinkets in the Alchemy Station by placing them into a Magical Catalyst. It will cost you 6 energy and increase the power of the trinket by just a little.
